I AM A SEX ADDICT

Caveh Zahedi's droll confessional about his fetish for prostitutes is either funny, creepy, brutally honest, insightful, self-indulgent or all of those, depending on how you view the man. Blurring the line between documentary and fiction, he relives his three broken relationships, deluding himself that by giving in to his desires he might exhaust them (his desires that is), and that by being aware of his tawdry activities, his partners might offer absolution and a cure. A textbook case of serial naivity, it's a shame no one ever told poor Caveh about the perils of being too honest, and that keeping your mouth shut is the next best thing to keeping your pecker where it belongs.
