Bail For Addict Driver Seeking Rehabilitation

A habitual offender and drug addict who allegedly drove at a policeman during a pursuit was yesterday granted bail because she was otherwise unable to access rehabilitation programs. Jonelle Kathleen Thompson, 28, was stopped at gunpoint after she forced up to 30 pedestrians to scatter off a Darlinghurst footpath while driving in the wrong direction along a one-way street in October last year.
